An alarm sounded at the beginning Istanbul on Tuesday night (15/11) when in the Fatih area, a car caught fire for an unknown reason with the fire then to be extended to other vehicles, just two days after the bomb attack in a central part of the City that caused the death of six people.
The driver of the first car engulfed in flames pulled over to the side of the road and called for help from bystanders when he noticed smoke coming from his vehicle.
The flames spread to four more parked vehicles and strong forces of the Fire Department rushed to the scene as well as forces of Turkish police.
The incident occurred two twenty-four hours after the bomb attack on a busy pedestrian street in Istanbul, while the Turkish media claimed that it was not a new terrorist attack.
