A cat has been wreaking havoc in a Japanese town. As the Guardian reports, one of the employees at a plating factory in Fukuyama, western Japan, upon arriving at work noticed some brown traces of cat paws on the floor, leading away from a tank of hexavalent chromium, a substance considered extremely carcinogenic. If this substance comes into contact with the skin, it may cause inflammation, while inhalation may cause respiratory problems.
