The politician, who is said to be close to Donald Trump, wanted Mr Johnson to be impeached at all costs for promoting a bill to continue US military aid to Ukraine. He accused him of “treason”, “unacceptable” compromises with the Democrats, insisting that “at least we could have guaranteed the security of the border”.
