Anyone who has forgotten value in banks or other financial institutions can consult from this Tuesday (7), what is the amount available.
According to the Central Bank, around 643,000 people have more than R$1,000 to withdraw from “forgotten money”.
The first step of the Sistema Valores Receivable (SVR) platform was released on February 28, and allowed, with the use of a CPF or CNPJ, to consult only the existence or not of “forgotten money”, without informing the amount.
To make the query, it is necessary to inform the date of birth or the date of creation of the company, in the case of CNPJs.
If the applicant has any amount to receive, a message will appear on the screen informing that the CPF or CNPJ and must wait for the indicated date to carry out the next steps and receive the amount.

In negative cases, the message that will appear will inform you that the CPF or CNPJ entered does not have any forgotten value to be transferred.

How to query the values
As soon as the Central Bank makes the complete information available in the Receivable Values System (SVR), the user must make the query again through the link and then click on the “access the SVR” button.
If there is no queue, the user will be transferred to the login page of the gov.br website. It is necessary that the citizen has an account on the government website and that it is silver or gold level.
After accessing the website and logging into the account, the user will have 30 minutes to verify the information about the receipt, the institution that will make the payment and the account chosen to receive the amount.
It is important to emphasize that the only site where it is possible to consult and find out how to request the return of amounts from individuals, companies or deceased persons is the https://www.bcb.gov.br/meubc/valores-a-receber.
The Central Bank does not send links to the citizen, messages or any other form of contact to advise that there is some money forgotten in the account. In addition, consultation and the operation to receive the amounts is free, and the BC is not responsible for charging for verification and for no institution to charge for the transfer.
