The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, met with the Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs of the Austrian Parliament and Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Rheinhold Lopatka, during his contacts in Vienna. The meeting focused on the situation in Ukraine, the Eastern Mediterranean and the strengthening of parliamentary diplomacy between Greece and Austria, according to Nikos Dendias in a Twitter post.
In addition, during his stay in Vienna, in addition to his Austrian counterpart Alexander Salenberg, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Austrian Parliament Reddy Wagner, the Chairman of the European Affairs Committee of the Austrian Parliament Reinhold Lopat met with the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi.
During his meeting with Rafael Grossi, Nikos Dendias discussed the safety of nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
It is recalled that the Foreign Minister’s visit to the Austrian capital began with his meeting with OSCE Secretary General Helga Smith.
Nikos Dendias, according to his schedule, is expected to conclude his visit to Vienna with his meeting with the Metropolitan of Austria and Exarch of Hungary Arsenios.
