Canadian government ministers met in Florida on Friday with members of US President-elect Donald Trump’s team as Ottawa scrambles to avoid a potential trade war with Washington. New finance minister Dominique LeBlanc and foreign minister Melanie Jolie met yesterday with Howard Latnick and Doug Bergum, who will take up positions in the next government.
