The head of the US Civil Aviation Aviation (FAA) said today that the recent air crash in India, with a Boeing 787 Air India, did not seem to cause mechanical damage or unintentional change in the fuel supply control system. “We can say with great confidence that it does not seem to be a mechanical problem in the Boeing fuel control system,” Brian Bedford told reporters on the sidelines of air demonstration, adding that FAA experts were looking at this possibility. The air tragedy occurred on June 12 when Air India’s Boeing 787 crashed seconds after taking off from Ahmedabad, northwestern India to London, driving 241 occupants and killing 19. Source: RES
