The Taiwanese company Cooler Master is celebrating its 30th anniversary and announced its most unusual computer case – Sneaker X.
As the name implies, this case resembles a sneaker in its appearance. The design is based on the work of modder JMDF, who originally unveiled his design at the Case Mod World Series 2020.
It’s hard to tell from the images the scale of the Sneaker X case. However, it’s nowhere near as small as a real shoe. Judging by the old JMDF video, the case is quite large.
As Cooler Master notes, the Sneaker X case is capable of “accommodating the latest top-of-the-line CPUs and GPUs, as well as LSS.” Exact specifications and price have not yet been disclosed.
Let’s hope the suggested retail price is less than the $3,999 JMDF handcrafted case. Cooler Master will begin accepting pre-orders in the third quarter of 2022.
