Coronavirus – Australia: The lockdown in Canberra is extended for one month

Australia: Vaccinations are accelerating

Nearly 53% of people over the age of 16 in the area have been vaccinated with both doses, the highest rate of full-blown vaccination in Australia facing multiple outbreaks due to Delta mutation.

State and federal leaders have agreed on a national roadmap for reopening the country, which will include the almost complete lifting of travel and border restrictions when full vaccination rates reach 70-80%.

Australia has recorded more than 75,000 cases and more than 1,100 deaths from complications of covid-19 since the pandemic began.
