Coronavirus – Britain: Endless queues at vaccination centers for the third dose

Long queues formed today, Monday (13/12) at vaccination centers of the major cities of England after appeal by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson all adults to get a boost of COVID-19 vaccine, according to Reuters reporters.

Queues had formed at the vaccination centers in London and Manchester in the north of England. There have also been issues regarding booking online.

“The COVID vaccination reservation service is currently in extremely high demand, so it has put in place a standby system,” the National Health Service said in a Twitter message. “For all the others who are waiting, we would recommend that they try again later today or tomorrow,” he added.

Also, self-diagnostic tests were not available, according to the APE-MPE.

“Sorry, there are no other self-diagnostic tests available at this time,” the government’s official booking service said in a statement. “Try again later. “Or you can go back and try to book a test appointment instead.”
