Coronavirus – Cyprus: The third dose of the vaccine for 40 and over begins

Starts tomorrow, Wednesday 17 November, at Cyprus, The vaccination against coronavirus with a booster dose for people aged 40 and over, given that a period of time has necessarily passed six months from the completion of their vaccination regimen (2nd dose in the case of the Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines or the single-dose vaccine of Johnson & Johnson).

According to the Ministry of Health of Cyprus, from tomorrow the beneficiaries will be able to be served in the free-flow vaccination centers (walk-in) operating in all Provinces from Monday to Thursday, from 8 am to 1 pm.

Alternatively, people aged 40 and over will be able to make an appointment through Vaccination Portal, as broadcast by ΑΠΕ ΜΠΕ.

It is recalled that people who received the Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna vaccine during the initial vaccination will also receive the booster dose same vaccine. People who were initially vaccinated with AstraZeneca will be able to choose a vaccine mRNA technology (Pfizer / BioNTech or Moderna). Finally, people who received the Johnson & Johnson monosodium vaccine will be able to get vaccinated either with mRNA technology vaccine either with Johnson & Johnson.
