Coronavirus – Hong Kong: Temporary “padlock” at Disneyland – New measures under the fear of the 5th wave

«PadlockIn its theme park Disneyland in the Hong Kong puts Walt Disney, amid rising cases coronavirus in town. The park will be closed from 7 to 20 January.

The Government of Hong Kong today announced the tightening of certain restrictive measures, including the banning of some incoming flights, as well as Authorities fear a fifth wave of the pandemic.

The countries banned from arriving are France, Canada, Britain, the United States, India, Pakistan, Australia and the Philippines. The measures are valid from January 8 for two weeks.

The theme park was already scheduled to close on January 6 under current restrictions.

Between new measures is, according to the Athenian-Macedonian News Agency, the cancellation of all major events from 7 to 20 January, while, from Friday, will suspend their operation -among other things- gyms, bars, nightclubs, karaoke bars, Beauty salons. At 18:00 the interiors of the restaurants will be closed, while the number of people allowed at each table will be reduced.

Also, the operation of the schools is currently suspended.
