Coronavirus – Iran: The country’s foreign minister is positive

Positive in coronavirus was diagnosed by his Foreign Minister Iran, Hossein Amirabdolachian, as stated by the representative of the Iranian Foreign Minister.

“His general condition is good and he continues to work while in quarantine,” a Foreign Ministry spokesman told state media late Monday night (1/11). Said Hatibzadeh, adding that he changed the schedule of the minister’s visits.

Earlier in the day, the foreign ministry announced that Amirabdolahian would travel to India by the end of November to attend a meeting of the Indo-Iranian Joint Economic Commission. No further details were given by Hatibzadeh as to whether Amirabdolahian would finally be able to travel to New Delhi this month, according to APE-MPE.

The Iranian foreign minister is not directly involved in the negotiations for the resumption of the 2015 agreement on Iran’s nuclear program, which are expected to be repeated by the end of this month.
