Coronavirus – Italy: 55 new deaths and 7,260 cases in the last 24 hours

THE Italy announced 55 deaths associated with coronavirus on Thursday, compared to 69 yesterday, while the new cases recorded in the last twenty-four hours reached 7.260 compared to the 7,162 recorded the day before.

Italy has recorded 128.634 deaths since the start of the pandemic in February 2020, a number that ranks it among the second place countries in terms of the number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Europe after Britain and in eighth place of countries worldwide, according to the RES EIA. Overall in the country have been recorded 4.460.000 millions of cases.

Intensive care units were introduced today 40 patients versus 50 admitted yesterday. The total number of patients with Covid-19 in the ICU has reached them 460 of the 442 that were yesterday.
