Coronavirus: Lifting of measures in the Netherlands – “End” the mask in most public places

THE Netherlands proceeds to lifting of measures against coronavirus, as there is a reduction in hospitalizations and infections. Thus, bars and restaurants return to the hours they had before the pandemic, while the mandatory use is abolished mask in most public places.

According to AFP and Reuters, only the rule of keeping distance remains, but everything the remaining measures are phased out.

“The country is reopening,” said the Minister of Health Ernst Kuipers in a press conference he gave. On February 25, “we will return to normal operating hours,” as it was before the pandemic, he added, referring to bars and restaurants.
