The number of new cases coronavirus in Turkey climbed the last 24 hours in over 10.000 for the first time since mid-May, reaching the 11.094, while 60 more people succumbed to Covid-19, according to data released tonight (23/7) by the Ministry of Health.
“If you want the next day to be better than today, comply with the measures. Get vaccinated“, Wrote the Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca on Twitter, according to ΑΠΕ ΜΠΕ, posting the latest daily report of the pandemic.
The number of infections remains much lower than the April-May wave, when new Covid-19 cases peaked at over 60.000.
They were reduced to 4.418 on July 4, after the severe lockdown that came in mid-May.
Since then, however, new cases of the virus have been found in rising. The latest of the remaining restrictive measures came just this month.
