Coronavirus: Restrictions relaxed in Albania, 10,000 found on festival beach

Its neighboring country Of Albania is in the process of easing the constraints on the pandemic as epidemiological indicators show improved. So the music festival Unum, which was canceled last year due to covid was held again.

This year, the organizers competed to gather bands from all over Europe, due to different restrictions in different countries. And according to the AP, they managed to make a five-day festival which was attended by close to 10,000.

“I feel great, I feel free, I feel normal, really. “No event could make me feel more normal and free than a festival, and especially the sea,” says a young woman.

The festival was organized without restrictions on the beach Rana e Hedhun (Thrown Sand), 75 km northwest of Tirana, according to Euronews.

Young people from various countries, such as France, Spain, Serbia, Kosovo and Germany, and even from Uruguay, came to attend.

“It was essential for mental health, in fact, many people lost their minds during the pandemic. “People do not pay much attention to mental health, but it is really important for everyone’s well-being,” says one of the djs.

According to the organizers, in order to enter the festival premises, one needed a negative covid test. In the last month, Albania has reported a low number of new infections that have been reduced to double digits. The Foreign Ministry said there were no longer any restrictions on anyone wishing to visit the country.
