Coronavirus – Russia: Sputnik-V vaccine boosts antibodies to Omicron mutation

Experts of the Russian Research Center Gamalei found that all test specimens performed on revaccinated with Sputnik-V vaccine possess neutralizing antibodies against it Omicron mutation of coronavirus.

This is stated in a statement posted on the Twitter account of the Russian vaccine, which cites a relevant research of the aforementioned institute that developed the said preparation, transmits the ΑΠΕ ΜΠΕ.

“We found that all the vaccinated had neutralizing antibodies against the coronavirus strain Omicron. The Gamaley Center has already announced that the Sputnik-V vaccine elicits a persistent neutralizing antibody response against the Omicron strain and that it protects against serious consequences of the disease and hospitalization.
