The epidemiological situation in Serbia worsens with daily cases increasing dangerously. In the last 24 hours they were confirmed 7.628 new cases coronavirus, while 32 patients ended up with complications of the disease, according to the RES EIA.
Essentially, within a month, increased tenfold the number of daily cases.
The worrying fact is that the positivity on a daily basis ranges at 29% fact that causes pressures in the health system.
The Covid clinics, in the local health centers, receive suspicious cases until 10:00 pm and the queues formed are every day and larger.
The three coronavirus hospitals that were built last year and have 2,200 beds have filled up and hospitals in other specialties are now involved in the fight against the pandemic.
They are hospitalized 3.621 patients of whom 167 are intubated.
The vast majority of patients are unvaccinated to date in Serbia, according to official figures, not there was a vaccinated patient who needed to be admitted to the intensive care unit.
The authorities are constantly addressing appeals for vaccination, however, there is no response, always according to the response of RES EIA from the country.
The government for the time being rules out the possibility of imposing obligatoriness vaccination for some occupations of the population, citing constitutional constraints, but is considering vaccination certificate the negative test for entry to cinemas, theaters, stadiums and restaurants.
Schools
For schools, as announced, it is being considered for students twice a week rapid test.
The cases in schools are increasing daily but the situation is not yet worrying, the Minister of Education pointed out in a press conference Branko Ruzic. He stated that to date the 0,5% of students was infected with the virus.
In Serbia, according to a government decision, if a coronavirus is found to be positive in a school 10% of students then the department closes and teaching will be done online for ten days.
