Coronavirus: The battle in Europe against the “Delta” variant is unequal

Russia accounts for more than half of all new deaths in the region, with almost 600 deaths a day on average over the past seven days (+ 33% compared to last week). In the UK, despite almost doubling the number of new deaths in two weeks (from ten daily to 17 in the previous week), the death toll is currently far short of its January peak of almost 1,250 people. they died every day.
