The USA have granted 449,955,588 doses of coronavirus vaccines in the country until Saturday morning and have distributed 567,081,775 doses of vaccine, reported the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
These figures are higher than the 448,155,906 vaccine doses that the CDC said were administered by November 19 of the 562,868,095 doses delivered.
The agency reported that 229,837,421 people have received at least one vaccine dose, while 196,128,496 people have been fully vaccinated, until 6:00 am yesterday Saturday, local time.
The CDC report includes two doses of Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines, as well as the unique Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Some 34.5 million people have received a booster dose of either the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine, or Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson. The booster doses from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson were approved by the U.S. Health Regulatory Authority on October 20.
