MOn Wednesday evening, the Council of Ministers unanimously launched thevaccination obligation for anyone who has completed, or has to be fifty years old by June 15 next. The provision, aimed at containing the new wave of infections, provides that, until June 15th, fifty and over fifty years old are obliged to undergo inoculation, under penalty of a penalty of one hundred euros and, from February 15, the inability to go to the workplace. The new decree provides, in fact, that for the over fifties the obligation to have a super green pass is established, in the public as well as in the private sector. This measure was voted unanimously by the CDM, where various parties have asked for the obligation to be extended to all workers.
Forza Italia, the Democratic Party and Italia Viva have fought for the vaccine and the super green pass to be asked of any worker. Lega and Movimento Cinque Stelle opposed the universal obligation, with the Carroccio having obtained a review of what was written in the draft of the decree: to go to the bank, to the hairdresser or to access the post office, the basic pass will suffice.
The checks, according to the provisions of the new decree, will be up to the employers, forced to consider unjustified absentee who, among the over fifty, does not have the super green pass. Then, the worker will have “the right to retain the employment relationship”, but will have his / her salary suspended. Furthermore, companies will be able to replace anyone who does not have a strengthened pass. An eventuality, this, granted only for medical reasons. The new provisions provide that, in order to avoid the vaccine, a medical certificate must be presented certifying the impossibility of being subjected to inoculation. On the other hand, those who have contracted the Coronavirus and are cured of it will have to undergo the vaccine six months after the negativization of the swabs.
