A gruesome incident took place in Costa Ricasince one crocodile ate an 8 year old cutlet before his parents’ eyes, as they had gone fishing on the banks of a river.
According to nypost.comthe incident occurred at the end of last October, when the 8 year old Julio Otero Fernandez he was with his family on the bank of a river, where he and relatives had gone fishing.
The little boy had waded into the river up to his knees when suddenly the huge reptile grabbed him and after decapitating him in front of his parents and four siblings then devoured him.
His parents watched this tragic scene helplessly, while an eyewitness reported that “he grabbed the child, shook him and cut off his head. Then he grabbed it again and dragged it into the water.”
In fact, the family of the unfortunate child asked the Costa Rican authorities to shoot the crocodile, however this was not accepted due to the legislation that protects these animals.
