A small aircraft disappeared on Friday in a sea area off it Costa Ricaannounced the Minister of Public Security of the Central American country, Jorge Torres.
“We received an urgent notification about (the disappearance of) a small aircraft, (performing) a private flight from Mexico to Limon airport” (east), explained the minister.
According to APE-MEP, “five German nationals” on board the planehe added in a video distributed to the media by his services.
“The aircraft’s communication with the control tower was lost near Barra de Parismina, off the Costa Rican coast in the Caribbean, and we immediately activated internal protocols.” to be identified, added the minister.
According to Mr. Torres, the plane disappeared on Friday at 18:00 (local time; this Saturday at 03:00 today Greek time).
After a few hours, searches for him were suspended as night fell and “bad weather conditions” prevailed. They are expected to continue today, the Costa Rican minister concluded.
