The Civil Police seized 9.8 thousand jars of fake anabolic and arrested a 29-year-old man and a woman, 43, on Monday (7) in Cotia, Greater São Paulo.
The couple is suspected of integrating a criminal organization that operated across the country with the manufacture and irregular distribution of the products.
The investigations pointed out that the group had a clandestine scheme of production, manipulation and sending anabolic steroids.
The laboratory used for forgery was located in a property in Cotia, where most substances were also stored.
The man was approached after leaving the place with a car loaded. During the approach, the police found several boxes with the anabolic steroids.
Already in the property, the team seized 6.1 thousand bottles ready for sale, 20 gallons of raw materials, a flooding machine, two printers, one label and empty packaging. The woman was arrested on the spot.
