Agents from the Niterói Security Force arrested, this Tuesday (12), the adoptive parents of a six-year-old girl for rape of a vulnerable person and mistreatment. The man is a religious leader.
Oseas de Souza Faria, 62, and his wife, Dilza Monteiro do Amaral Faria, 61, were in a bar near BR-101, in Jardim Catarina, in São Gonçalo, in the Metropolitan Region, when they were found after work of investigation.
“Those who shouldn’t have no fear,” said the man upon arriving at the police station. The crime was reported in 2021, after the child reported abdominal pain to an employee of the São Gonçalo Family Care Service.
According to investigations, the victim reported that her adoptive father, among other things, “kissed her on the mouth, put his hand on her chest and sat her on his lap in a way she didn’t like”. Furthermore, her mother was accused of attacking and forcing the girl to eat pepper.
The couple was taken to the 73rd DP, in Neves, and then taken to the 74th DP, in Alcântara. They will answer for ill-treatment and rape of vulnerable people.
