A couple was arrested by abuse against a baby on Saturday (3). The case occurred in the Papicu neighborhood, Integrated Security Area (AIS 10) of Fortaleza, and was attended by the Ceará Military Police.
The suspects are the 25 -year -old stepfather and the 20 -year -old mother. They would have led the 1 -year -old and 6 -month -old baby to a hospital unit in the Papicu neighborhood (CE). Given the situation, the 10th Military Police Battalion was fired and arrested the couple in the act.
Both face accusations for the crime of abuse. The man is also accused of bodily injury. The case is still being investigated by the Child and Adolescent Exploration Police Station (DECECA).
