The Mato Grosso Civil Police (PCMT) arrested in the act on Thursday (13), the couple suspected of killing a 16-year-old, nine-month-old pregnant woman in Cuiabá. According to investigations, Natary Helen Martins Pereira, 25, and her husband, Christian Albino Cebalho de Arruda, 28, murdered Emilly Azevedo Sena to steal her pregnant woman’s daughter.
Emilly had been missing since early Wednesday afternoon (12), when she left home in the city of Várzea Grande, to seek donations from clothes promised by Helen and no longer got in touch with her family.
On the night of the crime, Christian published a photo of the newborn and the couple was admitted to the Santa Helena Maternity Hospital with the baby on his lap, reporting that the delivery occurred at his residence. The medical team performed the child’s care, but the woman refused to be attended.
When the suspect accepted the care, the medical team found in gynecological and laboratory tests that the woman was not in a puerperal condition and, when she was breastfeeding the child, it was also found that she was not producing breast milk, being identified the possibility of the patient not being the mother of the child.
The hospital called the police and the couple was taken to the Flagrant Center for clarification and, based on the couple’s testimony, the missing people team went to the suspects’ residence and found the teenager’s body buried in a shallow grave with part of his visible leg.
Emilly had cuts in the belly region, indicating forced birth. Brands indicative of hanging and asphyxia were identified and she had an internet cable wrapped around her neck, hands and legs, as well as a bag in the head, suggesting suffocation.
According to the responsible delegate, Caio Fernando Albuquerque, the couple must be responsible for the crimes of triple -qualified homicide, corpse concealment, procedural fraud and other crimes that can be identified during the investigations.
