Giovanni’s, at the L’Apogée hotel

Last season, the Gennaro restaurant, at Hotel La Palma, in Capri, arrived in Courchevel as a pop-up experience inside the L’Apogée hotel, which is also part of the Oetker Collection. The temporary concept in the mountains worked: this season, it is open until March 30 the Giovanni’s which was a hit at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, in Antibes.
At the table, we have Italian flavors inspired by traditional trattorias, with recipes such as coteletta alla milanese, ossobuco, scallops with creamy polenta, fettuccine with black truffle and tiramisù for two people.

Loulou Restaurant, at Hôtel Barrière Les Neiges
The trendy Parisian restaurant Loulou with units still in Ramatuelle and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, on the Côte D’Azur, made its debut in the Alps within the Hôtel Barrière Les Neiges . With a Savoyard-inspired decor, full of wood and hospitality, the place has two floors and a large terrace, ideal for sunny days and where there are lively lunches and après-ski.
It’s a good option for both lunch and dinner, with guaranteed panoramic views and nights that get extra excitement with a DJ. The menu, inspired by the Alps and Italy, offers the famous truffle pizza, unmissable salads, such as raw artichoke with aged parmesan, and tuna carpaccio. The entrecôte, which is not on the lunch menu, arrives at the perfect point with crispy thin potatoes.

Chic Nonna, at Le Grand Hôtel Courchevel
Born in Florence and currently headquartered in Dubai, the Chic Nonna landed in Courchevel on Le Grand Hôtel Courchevel bringing Italian classics and exquisite Mediterranean dishes to the Alps. The house has the chef behind it Vito Mollica who runs the Michelin-starred Atto di Vito Mollica in Florence.
The menu uses raw materials imported from Italy, which result in dishes such as Calamarata Ai Frutti Di Mare, with mixed seafood and Amalfi lemon; burrata from Puglia; cotoletta alla milanese and gourmet pizzas, such as black truffle and salmon and caviar. At night, in true Courchevel style, the place transforms into a festive space, animated by a DJ, with house music and Italian classics.

Il Refugio, in the Verdons area
At the base of the Verdons cable car, the Il Rifugio opened its doors between the 2023/2024 season and remains an Italian lemonade and snacks bar, good for recharging your energy.
The menu also offers pizzas, antipasti, Italian main dishes and drinks, with aperol and wines being among the options. The terrace is ideal for sunny days, with views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks.

La Grande Table Marocaine, in Airelles Courchevel

Until January 16th, the restaurant La Grande Table Marocaine from Royal Mansour Marrakech, voted the best restaurant in Morocco by 50 Best Restaurants in Africa and the Middle East, brings Moroccan tradition to the mountains with a pop-up gastronomic experience.
The fusion of Moroccan dishes with the sophistication of the Alps is the responsibility of the chef Helene Darroze and the chef Karim Benbaba which serves chicken tajine with preserved lemon and olives; couscous with beef cheek and vegetables; and lobster and saffron rice cooked in a tajine, for example. Dishes are à la carte or can be enjoyed on a tasting menu for €265 (around R$1,600).

Panoramic, in Sommet de la Saulire
After 4 years, Panoramic reopened at the top of Saulire, accompanied by the return of the largest cable car in the region. Like any newly opened house, it still needs some adjustments, but it’s worth a visit, especially for the spectacular view of Courchevel, at 3,000 meters above sea level. It’s worth trying the croque-monsieur, bone marrow with truffles, dry and crispy fries, as well as the exquisite salads.

Asian Chalet, in Courchevel 1650
In the village of Moriond, or Courchevel 1650, Le Chalet, with a very simple structure, was remodeled as the Asian Chalet . Now, the space, which resembles a stand, has decor inspired by the streets of Bangkok and serves dishes such as pad thai, fried rice, soups, spring rolls and sushi in a mix of Thai and Japanese cuisine.

- For the season, the Hotel Annapurna, in Courchevel 1850, opened its Rendez-Vous where the chef Jean-Rémi Caillon revisits French classics. The confectionery is not far behind, with items such as crêpe suzette and chartreuse soufflé. At night, the place becomes lively with live music;
- Having been in the area for over two decades, the chef Julien Moulinet opened the restaurant Ava which operates under the lens of bistronomy. At the Le Pilatus hotel, next to the mini-airport, the La Maison du Coucou brought the former Le Cap Horn chef into the kitchen.
