The State Secretariat for Justice and Public Security (Sejusp) was notified, on the afternoon of this Tuesday (17), about the judicial decision regarding to the partial closure of the Nelson Hungary Penitentiary Complex, in Contagem (MG).
The immediate determination will be fulfilled by the Minas Gerais Penitentiary Department (Depen-MG). In action it is prohibited to receive or transfer new custodians to the location.
THE CNN contacted the Sejusp which reported that “the contingency plan for the immediate resolution of labor replacement in Nelson Hungary has already been defined and adjusted. For security reasons, further details cannot be provided.”
The Penitentiary Department carried out one of the biggest competitions in its history expanding the Criminal Police workforce by more than 3,500 men and women .
