Courteney Cox says she talks to Matthew Perry: “I feel close”

The actress Courtney Cox talked about how feels the presence of Matthew Perry even after his death in October 2023.

“He visits me a lot, if we believe that,” Cox said in an interview with CBSSundayMorning, in which the actress defined herself as a very spiritual person. “I talk to my mother, my father, Matthew. I feel like there are some people who… I feel like they guide us.”

“I feel Matthew around, for sure,” added the actress who played Monica in “Friends”.

“I think he's probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. He's so funny, with a huge heart, and he's obviously had a hard time,” Cox said.

Matthew Perry, the eternal Chandler from “Friends”, was found dead at the age of 54 in his home's swimming pool. Death occurred as a result of “acute effects of ketamine” and subsequent drowning, according to the autopsy report.

He used ketamine to treat depression and anxiety. However, Perry's last known treatment was a week and a half before his death, according to the autopsy, well beyond the time the substance would remain in the body.
