Approved on January 5th, the government decree to deal with the health emergency also sanctioned new rules for quarantine a school and for tracking positive students.
The provisions change particularly for middle and high schools, cycles for which one will be implemented diversified procedure for vaccinated and unvaccinated.

Nurseries and kindergartens
For the little ones, who still do not have access to the vaccine and who cannot wear personal protective equipment such as masks, the situation remains virtually unchanged.
With a case of positivity, in fact, the suspension of activities for the entire class group, for a duration of ten days. After this period, we return with a test – molecular or antigenic swab – that gives a negative result.
Quarantine in elementary school
As for primary schools, with a case of positivity the surveillance with testing of the class group: this means that the activity continues in presence but the whole class has to undergo a rapid or molecular antigen test as soon as he becomes aware of the positivity case. The test must be repeated after five days.
Solo in the presence of two or more positives is provided, for the whole class, the distance learning for the duration of ten days.
After Dad’s period, pupils can re-enter the classroom in the presence, after a negative antigen or molecular test.
Since last November, the rules have remained substantially unchanged for this school cycle as well. There administration of vaccines to the age group 5-11, which began in December, has not yet allowed the protocol to be reviewed. To date, just over 15% of children of that age have received a dose of the vaccine while only 0.02% have completed the vaccination course.
