Cowboy Italo Silva Rodrigues, 21, died after being trampled by a bull during a rodeo that took place in the center of the city of Guapiaçu, in the São José do Rio Preto region, on the night of last Friday (30).
According to the Public Security Department, the PM was called to respond to an accident inside a rodeo arena, in which the victim had been trampled by a bull.
After the incident, the worker was taken to the local health center, but did not survive his injuries.
On social media, the Rodeo Champions Association (ACR) expressed solidarity with Italo’s family. Furthermore, the ACR reported that all care procedures were carried out.
The case was registered as a suspicious death at the Cedral Police Station and forwarded to the Guapiaçu Police Station.
