CPFL will have a BRL 70 million energy efficiency project at the Pacaembu stadium

CPFL Energia announced this Friday (14) that it has entered into a partnership with the concessionaire Allegra Pacaembu for an energy efficiency project at the Pacaembu stadium, in the city of São Paulo.

The project, which totals BRL 70 million in investments, involves two solar photovoltaic plants with a total of 250 kilowatts-peak (kWp), a natural gas cogeneration plant and two battery banks for supply stability.

A climate control center, four emergency generators, panels with transformers to distribute the energy received from the grid throughout the complex, an intelligent monitoring system and ten electric vehicle chargers are also planned.

The execution of the project, in charge of the subsidiary CPFL Soluções, is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2023, with completion expected by the end of the year.

The electric company will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all systems, with a resident team, for 15 years, totaling approximately R$ 300 million in contracts.
