The report by the CPI of Applications at the City Council of São Paulo was approved by the councilors this Monday (12) with a series of recommendations for the regulation of transport and delivery services.
In the document, with more than a thousand pages, the councilors point out the need to increase the tax per kilometer driven by drivers, which is currently R$ 0.12.
For parliamentarians, the amount, which has not been readjusted since 2016, is insufficient.
Among the recommendations is the creation of an efficient system for constant monitoring of payments sent to the Treasury Department.
The councilors also asked that the City of São Paulo create a series of public policies to analyze the installation and maintenance of these companies in the city, both for fiscal contribution and to carry out activities safely.
The final report was sent to the State Public Ministry and to the Labor Court, for analysis of possible irregularities identified by the CPI.
The document was also directed to the National Congress, so that discussions on transport and delivery applications also take place at the federal level.
