Craig Wright is ready to give up the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto

The self-proclaimed creator of Bitcoin has proposed ending the legal dispute surrounding the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto with a settlement agreement.

Craig Wright made a proposal to the Cropto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) community, the crypto exchanges Coinbase and Kraken, and the Bitcoin Core developers who sued him, to settle the litigation surrounding the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. The plaintiffs want to admit that Wright is lying, indicating that he is the creator of the first cryptocurrency.

Craig Wright agrees to no longer make claims against organizations related to his database rights and copyrights to the BTC, BCH and ABC blockchains. In exchange, the plaintiffs are required to withdraw their lawsuits to “ensure that Bitcoin is used for the benefit of all, in accordance with laws aimed at preventing illicit financial transactions.”

Craig Wright made it clear that he will stop calling himself Satoshi Nakamoto, will develop blockchain technologies, for example, Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV), and most importantly, devote more time to his family. COPA, Coinbase, Kraken and Bitcoin Core have not yet responded to his proposal to settle the lawsuit.

Earlier, the Supreme Court of England refused to allow Craig Wright to appeal the decision of lower courts, which did not see any lies in the statements of one of the bloggers who accused the self-named Satoshi Nakamoto of impostor.
