The Facebook team is gearing up to launch a standalone Instagram app aimed at children under 13.

Facebook has already presented the project within the company, but it has not been launched to the public. Facebook spokesman Joe Osborne said:
Increasingly, children are asking their parents if they can join apps that will help them communicate and be on the same page with friends. And right now, parents don’t have many options, so we’re working to create complementary products – as we did with Messenger Kids – that are child-friendly and parent-controlled. We plan to bring a parent-driven system to Instagram so kids can connect with friends, discover new hobbies and interests, and more. ”
At the moment, according to the rules of Instagram, users can register from the age of 13 and older. Accounts believed to be owned by users under the age of 13 can be reported to the administration.
