The government should launch, next week, a set of measures to stimulate the credit market. The aim is to reduce interest rates on financing. The information has been confirmed to CNN by the Secretary of Economic Policy, Adolfo Sachsida.

Area sold at the Port of Santos

An area of ​​the Port of Santos was purchased for more than R$ 558 million by Petrobras. The government hopes to guarantee around R$700 million in private investments, in addition to another 12,000 jobs with the lease, which has a 25-year term.

Kamala Harris

For 85 minutes, Kamala Harris was the first woman to have presidential powers in the United States. The vice president held the position while Joe Biden was anesthetized for a colonoscopy. According to the White House, the exam was part of a routine medical check-up.

Inequality in Brazil

Black and brown people are 66% of those who were left without income in 2020, during the pandemic. The data are from Pnad Contínua, made by the IBGE.

Cantareira System

The Cantareira System, the largest water reservoir in greater São Paulo, has not reached the ideal level of supply for a year and a half. According to experts, the safe level is 60% and, currently, the reservoir operates at less than 30%.
