Yesterday, February 17, 2022, the Ministry of Finance proceeded with a new payment of compensation to the beneficiaries of State Aid, with a view to compensating and supporting the victims of the earthquakes of October 30, 2020 and March 3, 2021.
In particular, a total amount of 841,166.75 euros was credited to the accounts of 134 beneficiaries as an advance payment for housing assistance.
This is the fourth round of disbursement after the opening of the platform arogi.gov.gron December 17, 2021, for our fellow citizens affected by the two aforementioned earthquakes.
The total amount of aid paid for this purpose, to date, amounts to 7,064,619.86 euros and concerns 1,025 beneficiaries.
It is recalled that, after a recent amendment of the decision for the provision of first aid against housing assistance to support the victims of the earthquake of October 30, 2020 in Samos and the earthquake of March 3, 2021, the property measure affected also includes the affected property owners. from the above earthquakes and is located in areas of the Peripheral Units of Pieria of the Region of Central Macedonia, Grevena and Kozani of the Region of Western Macedonia, Karditsa, Larissa and Trikala of the Region of Thessaly and Fthiotida of the Region of Central Greece. It is noted that the one-time aid against housing assistance is not granted in cases where the provision of housing assistance has already been approved by the competent department of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
The amount of aid amounts to up to 14,000 euros for housing assistance to building owners affected by the above earthquakes, depending on the severity of the damage, as shown by the co-submitted data issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
Please note that in order to pay the financial aid, the beneficiaries need to have declared their account number (IBAN) in myAADE (myaade.gov.gr).
