A man was killed after trying to rob an intercity bus that made a connection between the city of Nossa Senhora do Socorro and Aracaju in Sergipe. According to the Civil Police, the suspect was shot by one of the passengers in the vehicle.
The case occurred on the afternoon of last Wednesday (22). According to the report of one of the passengers, the criminal, who wore a straw hat with wide flaps and a mask, pointed to a gun – which would be toy – against the driver of the vehicle. The threat caused a body struggle, which caused the alleged weaponry to fall to the floor.
Subsequently, the suspect ran to the bottom of the bus, where he took a knife and began to advance against a man who then fired at him.
The criminal was rescued and taken to the Sergipe Emergency Hospital (Huse), however, died at the health unit. The Federal Highway Police escorted the bus to the scene.
The case is investigated by the 7th Metropolitan Police Station.
