A 23-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the foot, during an attempted robbery of a construction company, last Thursday afternoon (7), in Sinop (MT), 480 kilometers from Cuiabá.
According to the Military Police, agents were called to respond to an incident of robbery involving two armed men, in the city center.
According to witnesses who were at the scene, one of the suspects entered the company and announced the robbery, while the other waited outside.
Then, some people who were in the establishment reacted to the assault and got into a physical fight with one of them.
As a result, the criminal accidentally shot himself in the foot and, before the police arrived, he was restrained. The other suspect, who observed the robbery outside the establishment, fled the scene.
The robber shot in the foot was taken to the Sinop Regional Hospital and then sent to the Sinop Regional Police Station.
The PM seized a cell phone, a pistol, 9 intact ammunition, a motorcycle and R$1,705.
