Criticism of Kurds in the EU about vaccines: Complains of bargains and unfair distribution

The Austrian Federal Chancellor has sharply criticized the European Union’s policy of distributing the new coronavirus vaccine among its member countries. Sebastian Kurtz at noon in a press conference in Vienna, even denouncing “bazaar” methods.

The doses of vaccines are not distributed fairly in the Member States according to the population of each country, as had been agreed, the chancellor pointed out, as broadcast by AMPE.

There are indications that they were made additional agreements and a ‘bargain’ between Member States and the pharmaceutical industry, denounced Sebastian Kurtz, calling for “full transparency” and a fair distribution of vaccines.

The Austrian Chancellor has repeatedly criticized him European Medicines Agency (EMA) for delays in both vaccine delivery and vaccine approval, and has emphasized that the production of second-generation vaccines should not depend solely on the EU.

Sebastian Kurtz wants the Russian and Chinese coronavirus vaccines to be produced in his country, announcing that “if the two vaccines are approved, Austria will definitely try to use the production capacity of domestic companies to produce Russian or Chinese vaccines.” as well as vaccines from other countries “.

“The point is to get the safest vaccine possible as soon as possible – regardless of who has developed it,” the chancellor said recently, adding that the EMA should also monitor vaccine approval from Russia and China. and that in this respect, there should be “no political taboos”.

Taking into account the recent urgent approval by the US authorities of the vaccine against Covid-19 of the American company Johnson & Johnson, Kurtz had demanded the fastest approval of this vaccine – something that happened just a few hours ago – from the European Medicines Agency (EMA) “which is now called to approve the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as soon as possible and without bureaucracy – in compliance with all scientific standards “, as he had pointed out.

Sebastian Kurtz recently re-criticized the principles of the European Union, noting that “It can’t go on for long to approve vaccines in other countries faster than by the European Medicines Agency “.

Sebastian Kurz had already called for the rapid approval of other vaccines against the new coronavirus in January, stressing that “here, it really counts every week in order to save human lives and jobs. “Europe must not be left behind.”
