Critics Choice Awards 2023: “Everything Everywhere at Once” is featured; see the winners

Continuing the 2023 awards season, the Critics Choice Awards received Hollywood celebrities at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, in Los Angeles, in the United States, on Sunday (15), and delivered the statuettes of the 28th edition.

The big highlight of the night was “Everything and Everywhere at the Same Time”, which led the nominations. The production received the main statuette, that of Best Film, in addition to Best Direction, Original Screenplay, Supporting Actor and Editing.

Still in the category of movies, Brendan Fraser won Best Actor in “The Whale” – marking his return to Hollywood – and Cate Blanchett as Best Actress in “Tár” .

As for the television awards, “Better Call Saul” available on Netflix, and “Abbott Elementary” from Star+, were the highlights of the night.

Zendaya, Jennifer Coolidge and Amanda Seyfriend won another award in 2023 for their roles in “Euphoria”, “The White Lotus” and “The Dropout” respectively.

Productions like “Aftersun” , “This is Us” and “Pam & Tommy” they returned home empty-handed.

THE Critics Choice Awards is the main award given by specialized American film and television critics and is considered one of the Oscar thermometers, as well as the Golden Globe, which handed out its awards last week.
