Critics Choice Awards 2025: Learn all about the award

THE 30th edition of Critics Choice Awards It happens this Friday (7), after two postponements due to fires in Los Angeles, United States. Expected to broadcast at 9 pm, the event celebrates the largest productions of cinema and TV and is considered an Oscars thermometer.

The biggest nominees of the edition were “Conclave” and “Wicked” with 11 indications each. Brazilian productions also conquered their space among the nominees.

What time and where will the Critics Choice Awards 2025 pass?

In Brazil, it will be possible to follow the award, with start forecast for 9 pm . The event is organized by the largest association of US and Canada critics, and will elect the best titles of 2024. Live broadcast will be made by TNT TV channel and the Max streaming channel.

Which Brazilians compete for Critics Choice Awards 2025?

Although Brazilian actors were left out of nominations, two national productions were named for the award this year.

The miniseries “Senna” that arrived at the Netflix catalog in late November, is competing in the category Best Series in Foreign Language . Starred Gabriel Leone Throughout six episodes, production explores life and career of the Brazilian Formula 1 pilot.

Already the Brazilian movie “I’m Still Here” was remembered in the category of best foreign film and competes with titles such as “Emilia Pérez”, “Flow”, “Everything we imagined as Luz”, “Kneecap” and “The Seed of the Scared Fig ”.
