The four arrested for the massacre at the concert venue on the outskirts of Moscow on Friday appeared with signs of abuse on their faces and were remanded in custody until May 22. As Russia counts its casualties with at least 137 dead, harsh images of their arrest are making the rounds on the internet. In one photo, one of those arrested is shown lying on the gym floor with his pants down to his ankles and a battery attached to his genitals. Wires can be seen from a TA-57 military field telephone capable of discharging up to 80 volts connected to the captive's genitalia, which foams at the mouth and appears to be clenching its teeth.
