Cruel video of cold-blooded execution of Ukrainian soldier – ‘Glory to Ukraine’ he said before he was killed

The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky said the video showed the Russian occupiers killing a soldier, while on social media the video is posted by users accompanied by the phrase “Heroyam Slava” which means “Glory to Heroes”.

The phrase “Glory to Ukraine” and the answer “Glory to the Heroes” have become a trademark of post-Soviet Ukraine, but have gained particular importance as a common greeting in public life since the war began. Within hours #GloryToUkraine became one of the most popular hashtags on Twitter.

THE Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andrii Kostin said Ukraine’s security service registered the shooting as a criminal case under the section of the criminal code covering violations of the laws and morals of war.

Ukrainian and Western authorities say there is evidence of thousands of war crimes committed in Ukraine since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022. Russia has repeatedly denied that its forces are committing atrocities or attacking civilians.
