The power plant of the Kia EV6 is offered in various configurations. An electric car can be driven to the rear axle or to both axles – respectively, one or two electric motors. The customer can choose a standard storage battery (58 kWh) or a battery with an increased capacity of 77.4 kWh. Kia EV6 electric vehicles with a standard battery in the rear-axle version are equipped with a 125 kW (170 hp) electric motor. The all-wheel drive versions have a total power plant output of 173 kW (235 hp). For electric vehicles with a battery with an increased capacity, these characteristics are respectively equal to 168 kW (228 hp) and 239 kW (325 hp). The torque of the rear wheel motor is 350 N • m, and the torque of the front wheel motor is 255 N • m. Thus, in the AWD specification, the total torque is 605 N • m.

In the European specification, the estimated range of the Kia EV6 with one axle drive and a 77.4 kWh battery is up to 528 km on a single charge (according to the WLTP method). In the all-wheel drive version, the range is 506 km. In this specification, the EV is capable of accelerating to 100 km / h in 5.2 seconds. With a 58 kWh battery, the all-wheel drive EV6 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.2 seconds.

Another important nuance. As the manufacturer promises, at an outdoor temperature of -7OWith the Kia EV6 it retains up to 80% of the range compared to the stock at +25OWITH.

Without additional equipment and adapters, an electric car can use two ultra-fast charging standards: “ultra-fast” with a voltage of 400V and “ultra-fast” with a voltage of 800V. When using a 400V or 800V 350 kW charging station, you can recharge the battery from 0 to 80% in 18 minutes.
