Cryptocurrency exchanger Bitzlato, accused by foreign law enforcement officers of money laundering, presented instructions for withdrawing 50% of user funds in bitcoins.

According to a publication in the Bitzlato Telegram channel, today, March 20 at 14:00 Moscow time, users of the service will be able to start withdrawing their funds. First of all, Bitzlato experts recommended checking access to the email addresses specified during registration. After performing certain actions, a special code for transferring funds will be generated, which is sent to the specified email address.

The Bitzlato team emphasized that the transfer of money is possible only from those accounts for which the email is known and which are not tied to a Telegram ID. The account from which the funds are transferred will be deleted. If the email address is incorrect, the user will be able to try to withdraw funds again only after a day.

Bitzlato also warned that AML services that track cases of money laundering illegally obtained have marked all coins as high-risk. Therefore, when withdrawing, users are advised to try several options. Firstly, you can use the service without AML checks and conduct a test transaction with a small amount. Secondly, you can send funds to a cold wallet, and then redirect a small amount to centralized or decentralized sites.

There are other options: send a small amount to any service, or simply leave crypto assets on Bitzlato and wait for the launch of the peer-to-peer platform, which is scheduled for early April. The minimum withdrawal size is limited to 0.001 BTC, and the fee is 0.0003 BTC.

Recall that in February, the media began to disseminate information about the arrest of Bitzlato co-founder Anton Shkurenko. However, Bits.media’s own sources denied these rumors.
