The American crypto exchange Coinbase and the international processing company Visa have entered into a partnership, thanks to which exchange clients from the United States and the European Union will be able to buy cryptocurrency using Visa debit cards.

Visa said Coinbase has millions of users with Visa debit cards linked to their accounts, and they will now be able to deposit, withdraw and buy digital assets in real time through the Visa Direct network.

Thanks to Visa Direct, Coinbase customers will be provided with fast and secure movement of cryptocurrencies, and the sphere of traditional finance and the crypto industry will become even more interconnected, Visa representatives emphasized.

Coinbase indicated that the partnership agreement with Visa Corporation will increase economic freedom for platform clients and provide them with the opportunity to manage their funds as flexibly and safely as possible.

Visa previously announced the launch of its own tokenization platform, which will provide banks with the ability to issue digital assets backed by fiat money, such as stablecoins and tokenized deposits.
