Cryptomats have been installed in the chain of stores of the German electronics retailer MediaMarktSaturn

MediaMarktSaturn has launched a six-month project to install cryptomats in the Saturn electronics store chain. Since the beginning of May, cryptomats have been installed in three stores in Cologne, Frankfurt and Dortmund.

How informs MediaMarktSaturn, a six-month pilot program, was developed in collaboration with the Austrian company Kurant, the European market leader in the distribution of crypto ATMs, and private bank SutorBank. Christian Stephan, Head of Innovation Research at MediaMarktSaturn, commented on the collaboration:

“Our project has great potential, since now in Germany there are only 40 cryptomats for more than 80 million inhabitants. The demand for cryptocurrencies is huge, especially among our clients who are actively interested in high technologies. Cryptomats fit perfectly into our list of services. Whether you’re a crypto pro or a beginner, Kurant’s ATMs offer a quick and easy way to buy cryptocurrencies.”

Recall that in May, the American electronics manufacturer La Crosse, in partnership with Coinsource, announced plans to deploy a network of more than 800 cryptomats in Kwik Trips essential goods stores in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and Iowa.
